The Pastures:
Our secluded location, away from the county road, along with permanent fencing in the woods, creates a perimeter around the entire property. This allows us to care for the horses in a pleasant, comfortable, natural horse setting. All of our pastures are between 2 and 6 acres and carefully managed, with deep, well-built run-in sheds, abundant water, and a mineral block.
Pasture Boarding Features:
Top quality hay as needed is included in the pasture board, and we administer your supplements as directed. Supplements and additional services or supplies are billed at cost.
We blanket and apply face masks appropriately to keep the horse comfortable, and we strive to adhere to the American Association of Equine Practitioners "Care Guidelines for Equine Rescue & Retirement Facilities".
Pasture Board Rate:
Year-round boarders - Total Well Care Package - $300 per month
Special – if you pay one year in advance you get the 13th month free Includes:
- Trims by farrier – Four per year (www.barefoothorses.co.uk)
- Deworming – Four times a year ivermectin dewormings plus 1 Ivervectin Gold/Equimax (tapeworm treatment)
- Blankets on/off during the winter
- Fly mask on/off
- Daily fly spray and a bath once a month
- Monthly email updates with pictures

Stable Board Rate – $450 per month
Includes:
- Indoor 10x12 stalls with shavings
- Hay feeding 2 a day. Timothy/Alfalfa Blend
- Supplements fed/you supply
- Blankets on and off
- Turn out daily in pasture
- Full use of lighted arena and riding trails on property

Rates determined by the specific needs of each horse.

As needed and billed to you at cost, we offer:
- Equine Massage Therapy
- Homeopathic Acupuncture – by board certified vet
- Chiropractic Care – by board certified vet
